First day back

Today, I spent the day at WeWork. My first time back since March 2020.

I was able to get a one month free access to any WeWork around the world. I took it so I could find out which WeWork to be a member of.

I drove 40 minutes to arrive at the WeWork. There was no traffic until I reached near the location. Parking wasn't easy but much better than it was pre-COVID. I found the new location and walked in. The previous location I used to visit was permanently closed.

This new center is massive. I got a tour and instantly liked how many options I had with rooms, desks and booths to work in. What was unusual for me was that there were less than 10 people in the entire space. It doesn't look like there are many people who are working outside their homes. Which makes parking and traffic much easier than usual for me.

In terms of productivity, it was the highest for me in a long time. I was able to get a lot done with minimal distractions. I hadn't worked for the length of time in a while so I was exhausted by the time I was ready to head home.

I like my first day experience and I want to continue to make the most of my free month to decide how to continue. It feels like DAY 1 of life getting back to normal.
Sounds like this arrangement works for you. I'm glad you have a free month to decide whether you want to make a longer commitment.

That's an interesting idea Sir Abe. I like the idea of having to be accountable and getting the chance to share what I do. That will also keep me honest about the cost-benefit analysis of the monthly membership fees.
