I've always believed there is a place for everybody in the world. That's why I also believe no one is really lazy, they've just not found their work or lack proper incentive. That's for another post.

this may not be the only way to find the best career for you, but it's a pointer
I believe there is a sweet spot for work. Where work actually feels like play. Where chaos energises you instead of scaring you. It effortlessly keeps you awake at night. Where you're effortlessly obsessed. I never had this thrill as a software dev, but it's different now.
The above is what the Product Manager role is for me. For starters, I used to loathe having a zillion browser tabs open, now I don't anymore (LOL), I really want to get through all of them. But time in its unfairness, thinks I'm only deserving of 24 hours.
In this state/space, you're constantly feeling like "I can conquer the world". You go over Job Descriptions of job posts from the FAANGs of this world and you're like I can do this stuff.
In that state, you're in your element.
From experience, when I always thought Coding was my main thing until the chaos others thrive in terrified me to the bones. Several hours / days of anxiety. I knew there was something wrong somewhere.
I've not spent a year as PM to speak with so much authority, but if what i've gleaned from available wisdom is anything to go by, when you're in element and the chaos seems to be terrifying it's either you've got an unrealistic timeline or you're burnt out. The properness is what I've stated in the post; the chaos is scary but excites you nonetheless.
