After an on and off crazy year, I reached my 100 day streak on Adagia.org and golifelog.com this week.
Just like I used to feel in 200WaD.com, I am beginning to realize the significance of time based on my streak days.
What I really liked about 200WaD was how in a short time, a lot of us - like minded people gravitated towards each other. For me it was a new experience and I kept getting surprised at how many things a lot of us had in common. I think those friendships allowed the two platforms to continue to grow.
This past week, I wrote a few post with ideas on how to make the sites better. Slightly different suggestions for both. In both cases, both Jason and Abe were very engaging and responded to the post and recommendations. I was even more surprised to see that a few ideas were either already there or in the works.
A part of me feels bad about throwing out ideas - as crazy as they seem at time - cause I believe that ideas are great problem solving and creative thinking exercises. And secondly because I think it helps any platform to think out loud so the creators know how the users are thinking.
I feel like I am an active and dedicated member of the sites though it is still not possible for me to generate unique content for the two sites. I feel heard when I share my suggestions. I see a consistent level of engagement for the short time that the sites have been live.
I still think Baz did us all a huge service by bringing us together. But Jason and Sir Abe are also doing an amazing job of keeping the flame going and taking it to the next level.
Just wanted to say - THANK YOU.
