The internet changed the world. I know you know. For some of us, we have an idea of how the world looked like pre-internet, what we currently have will always look like a wonder.
Back in the day The Television Box 📺 was the symbol of visual entertainment and connectedness to the world. The radio tried, but it wasn’t like a TV. You couldn’t watch Voltron or Power Rangers on radio. Radio had its drama shows, but they’d never compare to watching Mr Bean acting stupid.
These days Social Media have replaced the TV. At least for me, I consume practically all my entertainment on my iPhone.
Tonight I needed some light entertainment and I was amazed by the fact that simply going through Instagram Stories of my follows satisfied that urge. Few minutes and several swipes while rolling on the bed, I was entertained.
That reminded me how much of a wonder we hold in our hands daily.
