My first product as a Product Manager got listed on Shopify App Store this evening. I'm so excited. It's amazing how much effort it takes to build. Today's not for stories.
My joy is that I've found a game I feel I can thrive in and I'm blessed for the opportunity granted me.

On the other hand, I'm also sad. I live in a country that have mad folks as leaders. This evening the government clamped down on four of our biggest startups, freezing their bank accounts for 180 days. It hurts because this government does nothing to improve lives. The roads are bad, epileptic power supply, no jobs and etc. Youths are thriving in tech in spite and despite and all they do is clamp down and kill them. Twitter is still banned. Crypto isn't publicly accessible. They've killed startups like that before. How will investors invest in the country? How are we going to build startups that will give us big exits?
Maybe someday soon, I will write about why how most of us Africa have got nothing but Jesus.

I likewise feel more distanced from the macro/world as I've felt more connected to the micro/craft of my work.
Ten years ago I didn't really have a craft at all. Didn't feel like i was part of any game... but i felt like i could change the world so easily.
