The duality of old people these days, man.
I can’t say I agree with more than 10% of their core values and beliefs, especially politically, but at the same time I can’t help but find myself feeling for them, watching their bodies begin to decay and wear from this worldly life run long.
I feel pity for their apparent lonesomeness, pity for their frailty and wizened visages, pity for their ironclad points of view that had the shelf life of a fresh banana.
Pity, pity, pity.
