Lagos, Traffic & Boredom

I'm angry. At Sir Abe!!!

it's 11:50 pm and I'm right here on my laptop simply because I'm unable to publish a post on Adagia via my mobile phone.

Sir Abe is cancelled. We shall put him in the purgatory as Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates

Went out today to use the office. From there I went to a Church meeting. Church ended at 8 pm, I got home about 10:30 pm.

This evening, I was reminded of the almighty Lagos Traffic. Because I work remote and don't go out as much, which is unhealthy by the way, I had forgotten about Lagos Traffic. Tonight I was jacked back to reality.

The traffic was bad, my back hurt and all.

But I don't care. I would have been at home alone anyway doing whatever to make myself productive.

This week, I hope to go to the cinema at night to rewatch Shang Chi. I'm not sure I can afford 007 yet, so I'll make do with Shang Chi, it's old and will be definitely cheaper.

Until then I get really sick of Lagos traffic, I'll choose the traffic over sitting at home alone.
Traffic at 8pm? That is not even rush hour traffic then. Crazy.

You are lucky to have the ability to work remote.

If I were you, I would find a way to work in a nearby internet cafe with friends or have a rotating schedule where you can get together with friends in one person's place for a week and then another one the following week etc. I can see that meeting and interacting with people is what you likely miss rather than the back hurting traffic. So find a way around what you miss.

Say NO to health impacting Lagos traffic!

Haha I can't believe you're not blaming Tim Cook!! He's the one who makes your device!

BTW does
Lagos
exhibit a similar traffic schedule to here in the states as Keni is assuming? As in rush hour around 5pm?
