NFTs Part 2

I have made some progress on my NFT project.

Step 1 - I created a crypto wallet. After reading the reviews, I settled on MetaMask wallet.

Step 2 - I bought $200 worth of Etherium. There was a back and forth at this step but eventually I was able to get it into my wallet.

Step 3 - I connected my wallet to Rariable.com. That is the site I chose to experiment with creating my own art.

Step 4 - This is where I am stuck at the moment. I am trying to identify what I should make. There doesn't seem to be any direct correlation between the art I have seen and the price people are willing to pay for them. There are some really SILLY looking things that are being pumped up. I wouldn't buy that for any price. But I am learning that the art has nothing to do with my taste.

I am at the phase of studying who the audience of NFTs are. The one thing I have seen is that it is majority men. Majority young. Majority tech savy.

My initial thoughts were around making the type of art I like but since nobody cares about that, I need to invest more time at this research phase.
NFT
s have little to do with art and more to do with the community.

Time to get that community action going then. :) Everything is about marketing.

Well you gotta first have substance. then after that it's all about marketing (storytelling).

But the substance part is a lot harder than most people like to imagine.

How do you mean substance? Like Gary Vee?

I meant marketing is only effective when it sells/shows something of substance. as in imagine doing marketing for something like the Fyre festival. No matter how well you do, it's a bad thing waiting to happen
