Office Space.

Today I heard about a random firing of almost 70 people in one department of a company.

It was a reddit post where someone who had been with the company was told that they were fired after 11 years with the company. From the post, you could tell that he was still processing what happened.

The comments were even more shocking than the original post. A lot of the people fired didn't understand what it was based on. Some really talented people were fired. Randomly.

There was a woman who just had a baby.... now she is fired.
No compensation. No warning. No rumors.

Just one day - thank you for your service.

A lot of people talked about it like a real life Office Space.

That's why the movie is a classic. It was so spot on about corporate America.
Ruthless.
I'm reading a book by the rapper
Rick Ross
one of the chapters in it is called THE GAME AIN'T BASED ON SYMPATHY. This post reminds me of it.
