Yesterday I spent time looking at Etsy. I wanted to know what type of products are best sellers. I also wanted to understand the audience. Who are the buyers? What are the best sellers?
Then I stumbled upon this item.
https://www.etsy.com/listing/740847245/1-million-dollars-a-year-office-decor?ref=usf_2020
Who buys this? And pays $69 for the smallest size?
The shop has a bunch of reviews and most of them positive. So people are buying and paying big bucks for it.
Is there a value proposition there that I am not understanding? It feels like a rip off to me.
I am more attracted to the customized shops where people can get something customized as a gift... like wedding, mother's day, birthday etc. That type of stuff is unique and worth the $$. Using AI tools, it could be easy to do even if it is hands on.
I maybe reaching a decision about what I will sell.
