In the age where subscription is the model, paying a one time payment is becoming a discount deal.
I was reading a Medium post about an AI tool that cost $191 per month. I was thinking that is a ridiculous monthly payment. Buried in the comments, someone said they can get the same tech for pennies at AppSumo.
So the curious side of me went looking for AppSumo.
It turns out to be a LTD deals site. In addition to being a place to sell any digital assets like ebooks, PDFs and courses. What got my attention were very fancy AI tools for everything from writing, selling, automating and marketing.
It looks like a lot of startups offer their product both for feedback and to get the early adapters to get the product. It is a good deal for both sides.
