Been noticing the difference between / vs .
The former is more about the process. Goal oriented. You want something so here's what you need to do, now go do it. Even if mechanically.
Then the latter, do something almost for an unexplainable reason.
Actually it's quite easy to explain, but the explanation is so simple most would find it hard to believe. Too . But we do rituals because of the way it makes us feel. Our position in relation to other things becomes clarified by rituals.
Routines and habits have their place. They're definitely not bad.
And rituals are not necessarily good.
I do think that after a few years of writing regularly... both in a routine and ritualistic sense... I know which one is more important to me the human. But I also understand one is not possible without the other.
Had a busy day today. Was about to brush my teeth before bed and realized I didn't even post on here. So I write this routinely out of habit rather than my preferred way: as a ritual.
