It’s much easier to remove a sugary desert from your pantry than to resist eating it every time you enter your kitchen.
It’s much easier to delete a social media app than to consciously remind yourself to avoid using it every time you unlock your phone.
It’s much easier to permanently alter your environment than to tip-toe around it like there are a bunch of land mines; the difference in the amount of energy and concentration required is massive.
To do something more, alter your environment so that it becomes absurdly easy and automatic.
To do something less, alter your environment so that it becomes absurdly difficult to do or, better yet: impossible.
The same goes for altering how you think.
