Folding Napkins

Someone showed me by creasing a napkin and folding it, that you could only fold it about seven times. They weren't really making eye contact. Nor did they talk much more about this, and the conversation meandered into something more about the weather, and whether I was going to do anything this weekend. I was still thinking about the napkin. We got up and left, but I grabbed another napkin.

When I got home I tried it on different pieces of paper, and googled it. It seems so silly. Like why is this a rule? It annoyed me. The internet reassured me that it can be done more, but you need a really big piece of paper.

I walked to the shop, a napkin in my pocket, going over and over.

I don't think I would have cared so much, its not like anything in my life has come down to folded paper.
But there was something about it, I walked by people and exchanged polite smiles. I walked by the shop, and they were replacing tires, just two for the back. Bolted on and inflated to the right pressure.

I wonder if they knew.

I believe the world record is 13 folds using a special (and very long) piece of toilet paper.

Lol the best knowledge.

Hmm. Toilet paper you say. A guy I ate lunch with today used toilet paper as a napkin. It seemed weird. But also makes sense like the same thing as a napkin maybe more ply.
