Chris McDonalds ACT

Chris now has a kid I don't remember her name, but when we were in school together no one thought he could do that. Its not he was voted least likely to have a kid, or anyone said that specifically but just he wasn't destined for greatness or fatherhood or anything really. Its not like I talked to him to much. I think at the time I was concerned more with getting good grades, we had the
ACT
to prep for and I needed to get something high to go to a good school, and my practice ones were always low.

Anyway Chris kept showing up in my life. That summer I got a job at
McDonalds
, well I should say I got in the winter, but that summer was when I was working full time, not like during the school year on the random weekend. Then you meet a whole different crowd of people. No one your age, and no one that friendly. Aside from Chris although he wasn't that friendly just my age.

But there he didn't act like it, its not like at school I acted like I knew him, but here he didn't have time for being cool with me. He showed me my first day how to clean to grills, taking the grease trays, and pouring them into a make shift trashcan to wait until its congealed enough to dispose of properly. He told I need to learn all the things people hate doing so people won't hate working with me.

The first 30 minutes I was already tired, and he went out to smoke, even though we weren't 18 then and some of the managers went with him, and I could hear them laughing, while buttons were beeping all around me and new orders kept flashing on the screen.
There is an entire novel's worth of story from expanding on this:
