On the eve of Twitter bootcamp

Tomorrow is March 1st, and thus begins the Twiter cohort (Bootcamp) offered by BirdinPublic courtesy of

. I'm not sure what is in store for our group, but I am looking forward to the collaboration and learning techniques and the ins and outs of the platform. 

I have two accounts and let the record show as of today that @Lobacrow has 33 followers and @Be_Wellthy has 3 followers. 

As I told Brian, I'm going to use this month-long experiment to arrive at a decision about Twitter. By the end of this cohort, I'm either going to double down on Twitter and make it a major part of my strategy or relegate it back to personal obscurity. I have no vested interest either way. 

As Naval said in some Clubhouse room last night, (Yes, I managed to get on Clubhouse. No, I'm not convinced it's worth all the hype.) *paraphrasing* Do not build your castle on someone else's sand. If you are only on one social media platform, and that platform decides to change its algorithm or ban you or shadowban you, you're sunk. This is why I like the idea of an email newsletter, where I can own my email list and take it with me if Substack (or any other newsletter service) goes under.
