abrahamKim's changes to the Adagia site have made it a little more compact and a lot cleaner. It has taken me a few days to get used to the new navigation, but now I like it. There appears to be no loss of functionality, and it's just different with a few new gems.
Yesterday after posting my writing, I got a waffle. My initial thought is that abrahamKim had introduced a new algorithm feature that determined the writer's mood and assigned an appropriate food item badge. I often feel like I waffle too much when I write, so getting a waffle badge was probably about right. I wonder what I need to write to get a beer or a coffee badge?
There would be no shortage of food items to use for badges. Perhaps a chilli could be given when the writing is hot, an egg when it stinks, and an onion when it makes you cry.
I am looking forward to stocking the pantry, and I wonder what badge I will get when I post today? It appears that dumplings or a cup of tea are on the menu.
It is a nice subtle touch for the site. Keep up the great work, abrahamKim.
Lmao being able to select a treat based on the writing is out of my core competency. I would love that to be a thing but right now it's completely random.
I remember keni writing an email recently about wanting to do a sentiment analysis of her writing. Maybe one day she and I can figure out a way to connect her ML/AI skills with my WebApp making skills and we can actually deliver treats based on the meaning of the post.
BTW thanks for your recognition peterdannock. It's very heart-touching! :)
