What do people want?

The week started well and I feel energetic. I was mildly curious about what types of business are profitable in 2021 with a 1 person team. This is a result of watching so many back to back episodes of Shark Tank but I feel the need to engage in making a product. There is something very fulfilling about creating a product that people would respond to and pay money for. So I started researching.

I found this site that lists a few interesting ideas.

Of all the ones I was looking at, I thought this one was ridiculous. The business idea is basically providing you with a framed version of your favorite tweet. Here is the page. Why? Why would I pay $39 for this? Who is looking for this service? The business makes $25,000 a month. $300,000 a year. For framed tweets!

What am I missing here?
This isn't a patented product. I don't get what problem it is solving. This isn't a creative idea in my opinion. And anyone could easily print whatever tweet they like and frame it themselves or make it a desktop background if necessary. There is something I am not understanding about business or people. Could it just be the marketing behind the product that makes all the difference?

I think for a one person team, either something to do with information is a great place to start. As in selling an info product based on something only you can know/create that is also in demand

Honestly I think you should just create info products with total disregard for the market just so that you can get practice in creating them. That way when you do find a niche that you're suited for in the future you'll be ready.

I feel like this is the path that

Keni - I think one thing the future holds was detected by your desire to get involved in Toastmasters. That is, somebody who's not afraid to do some preparation and some thinking and then voice their summary report or perspective. Most people don't know how to think. As writers, at least, we're forcing ourselves to put our thoughts down - as clear or unclear as they may be in the moment.

I don't get the framed tweet idea either, and the frame they are showcasing is gaudy. I'm definitely not in the audience for that product, especially considering there are times when I may not open Twitter for a day or two and I have nothing new in my feed.
