Dreams

I watched Chris Wallace's interview with James Cameron on HBO Max yesterday. James confessed that all his ideas for Avatar came from his dreams when he was 19. Being an artist, he captured his visions in drawings that provided the foundation for the visuals and the story. He also claims to have seen the terminator robot in a fever dream when he was sick.

Last night, I didn't have any wild visualizations, but I did have some writing that appeared to me in a dream. I noticed my dreaming increases when I take the Sleep Breakthrough supplement from BiOptimizers. It was a grand opening to a story, and I feel like I was trying to repeat it in my dream so that I could remember it. I tried writing it down but lost most of it when I woke up. Oh well, who has time for fiction, anyway? So, instead of getting some grand opening to a story, you get my little explanation.

I used to dismiss dreams, but the counselor at 40 Years of Zen told us dreams have meaning, and we should pay attention to them. I think there is more to explore in dreaming, including learning to direct your dreams, referred to as lucid dreaming. At this point, I just want to remember the good stuff when I'm awake.
Dreams know more than they reveal

I find the experiences in
dreams
to be one of the most important aspects of our perceptions/experiences.

I used to take 5HTP for years. It gave me some very wild dreams. I loved it.

Do you journal your dreaming? Also if you want to gain more control in your dreams set a clear intention before falling asleep: You can tell yourself stuff like" Tonight I will dream vividly about ..[... suppose you have an ongoing theme that you have already journaled about ... ] and I will talk to, or go to etc and I will remember everything. Something like that.
It worked for me some time ago when I was actually more fascinated about dreaming. Now I'm not anymore. I just want to have a deep profound sleep, pitch black without any perturbances.

I have journaled a bit but not consistently.
