I've seen people going very very offtrack in mental institutions. I am sure they could have recovered much faster in a different setup.
We fail to understand the complexity of each individual and atypical mental states. We don't understand the intricacies of identity, desire, love or the sense of belonging. Not to talk about purpose. How do you cultivate a healthy sense of purpose in an individual that is lost.
