Caring Westcity cafe

as reply to what would happen?

He didn't really get why, but since Monday morning everything was going good in his life. Like clockwork, he'd wake up to texts from his friends, memes he'd never think they would have sent.  When he went to the
Westcity
cafe
it seemed like they knew he was coming. People were more smiley. The barista even knew his name. He even said hi to people on the street. He didn't understand, but it felt like he had more time to think, he had more time to choose. He felt so bogged down by choices in life. Suddenly he was mr. popular. There was that girl from high school, who if he was honest ghosted him for nearly 5 years. She just replied, and seemed more interested than someone recently married. He thought to himself maybe they called it off. Nice. He walked home from the cafe. Maybe he should message his friend. They could go walk the dog. Normally he was afraid, but today he felt differently, and he might know what to do about the Kimberly situation. Maybe he should get a dog he thought. And googled dogs on his phone while waiting at the corner. He stopped. Then looked across, it was his friend with the dog. I thought he said he was busy today. Normally he wouldn't have said anything, but today he had energy he approached him.

Some busy day we having. He said pointing at the dog.

Oh hey man. How are ya? We just out for the daily walk. Gotta get some steps in.
Haven't heard from you in awhile.

I should say the same. But that dog picture you sent me brightened my day.

Then the man with the schedule looked at the man's dog. The picture was from a completely different breed.

Did you always have this dog?

Suzie, yeah man thats my girl. Here he rubbed her head.

Whose this then? The man with the schedule shows him his phone.

Woah man, I don't know. Definitely not Suzie.

The man with dog shows him his phone. I didn't send that dude.

Did you get these texts?

No man, woah, what the hell?

What the fuck, you think its like a virus?

The dog at this moment was distracted by the smell of something at the base of the streetlamp. It wasn't sure if it was another dog, or another animal entirely. This was exciting to the dog. So exciting that it wasn't really listening to anything its owner was saying, nor could he care.
