It didn't register that Keith was going to die. The doctors told him it was the perfect storm, his mother smoked, his dad drank, and he spent almost a decade in space. His body had tried to adapt to all these things and everything else Keith through at it, but some of his cells revolted. These cells banded together, they formed a colony. This colony however was in Keith's lungs taking up space usually reserved for important things like breathing and collecting oxygen from the air. Additionally, to the colony, this was such a good place to live it had expanded, and even left the lung the doctors told him. In
