Marianna worked at a school, although she wasn't a teacher. That was her end goal. Right now she helped the teachers, prepare lessons and things. He favorite class was art class, a lot of work for her, and made the day go fast. The teacher she worked for there was also nice to her. Told her she felt bad she couldn't teach yet.
"This shit, it ain't rocket science, were just making macaroni necklaces. Especially if you care? Its a shame they don't just give you a license now. We need the help."

Everyday she got a one hour break. There she sat in the break room, sometimes looking at

reels, other times just doing cross words. She liked it there, because no one really came in. All the teachers stayed in their rooms. Others would have cafeteria duty so they would eat with the kids.
She liked how quiet it was. She liked also they always had coffee going. A drip, it reminded her of her grandma. A real american she thought. Looking up to the sky, she saluted the flag fluttering in the front of her school.
