Growing up,
New York
felt like the center of the universe. And little Keith could not imagine a world where everybody in New York didn't work in the Empire State Building.
Of course he grew up and got over such long before he went up to
Spacecity
. But it was strange now that he thought of it. That of all the people he observed. Not a single one had ever worked or even stepped foot inside the Empire State Building. His entire time there. He had observed people in scenes involving almost every other popular building he could think of. The Sears Tower. The John Hancock Center. The Staples Center. The Capitol. The White House. A bunch of the
Trump
towers. But never ever... the Empire State Building.
Weird Keith thought. He saw the screen on his laptop go black as he thought this. He must've daydreamed about the Empire State Building for awhile. After thinking about typing a key to wake his laptop back up, he decided to close it. Get up and get some fresh air. He had called in sick at work again today. It was almost noon.
He went for a coffee. If anyone at work saw him there then he could say that he was feeling better. But decided to stay off work in order to relax. To prepare for coming back in full the next day. He wasn't so worried. He was too fixated on this thought of The Empire State building. And how he had never seen the inside of it.
