Alan's mom was happy, a little concerned, as Alan was paying rent in

, but it was nice to have him home. She thought about asking him the night before at dinner, but he was talking a lot, he was letting her into his life. So that was nice. She was happy about that.

although she wanted him to just get it over already, ask her out bowling or something just the two of them. Or maybe bring her to her dance class, if she can be silly than she's a keeper she thought. But of course she'd never say.
She didn't expect it to be like this. First they were all gone in different areas of the world then all the boys, or men now are back in town.
She missed her husband.
