What do you want in your Launchpad?

Usually the home page is called a landing page. This term fits marketing/sales sites better than a webapp you visit regularly. For a website trying to sell you a product the landing page acts as a funnel attempting to captivate you into. At the least it should make you want to learn more. At the best it will make you want to buy right away.

The home page of Adagia isn't trying to sell you a product, but it is trying to sell you an idea. The idea that you should write.

For this tool I consider the home page a Launchpad. It might not do the job of jumpstarting your writing engine, but that's the intention, and over time hopefully the effect.

Right now you are welcomed by greeting and a calendar visualizing your recent activity. Below that are some immediate actions you can take.

The current arrangement of actions is biased by my recent inclination towards desiring to write finished projects. However, I'm rapidly changing my mind on this prioritization, which means the Launchpad will evolve as well.

So what would you want in your Launchpad? It can be as crazy an idea as being punched in the face by the text-editor right away, no questions asked. I feel like maybe this is what

would want haha.

I am still finding my way around. I have been lost a few times since things have changed dramatically since the last time I knew my way around here. I see you have been putting in a lot of time and effort on making this experience seamless and enjoyable. Let me write a few more times and then give you my feedback.

Awesome thank you! Any feelings of being lost have nothing to do with you. Still trying to figure out how to incentivize different behaviors.
