"Danny grew up quick." A psychologist was explaining to his teacher.
"He probably never had a role model. Or a care giver that was really... around lets say."
"But what about his uh, outbursts, will those go away?"
"Its hard to say... Uh. People like this sometimes its just a phase... Other times, it will never uh change."
"You mean he'll never change?"
"Sometimes personality is dynamic, other times, it sets faster than we think."
The teacher wanted to ask something else. But restrained herself.
"Okay."
The psychologist got up and left. The teacher didn't really know what to do with all of this. She was stuck. In some ways she cared for Danny like her own kid. She even paid the psychologist to come to the school so Danny wouldn't think anything was weird. Just a school program she said. At the same time, there was something off about him. It was like holding a snake cradled in your arms, you never know when it will bite.

Danny never told Blayne about this, but for some reason he always liked Blayne, he reminded him of that teacher. Watchful and caring. Something most people weren't Danny would tell Blayne that, that people no matter what they tell you are only out for themselves. Blayne would always disagree. Just like his teacher.
