He finally finished looking at the light peering in through the crack in the blinds. Finally finished looking at the picture of the retriever and the bird. IT was time to get up.
In the bathroom his pissed smelled strong. He remembered when lived with Leisha. Back then she once said 'mmm your pee stinks.'
"Like what, babe?"
"Like BAKA dehydrated."
He hadn't drank much the night before. He was nervous. And he took some magnesium pills. The Cambridge Kid had taken them to help him sleep. Baka found them useful for himself as well.
He missed the Cambridge Kid he thought while looking into the mirror. He splashed cold water onto his face. He needed to forget about Marc. Forget about that farm. If he drove non stop he could find the mark before midnight.
It would be wise to sleep though. Scope out the mark's schedule and movements. Plan it a little. So it would be a few days until the job was completely done.
He checked his phone routinely. He sometimes got voicemails left by Marc.
"Listen, I know you're listening ot these. And I know you won't call back... But I just wanted to let you know I'm not mad. And I'm rooting for you.... And ... thanks man. Thanks for everything."
It was always the same type of message. He got one every day since he had left the farm.
