Blue Man
was an influencer he had followed a long time ago. In fact everybody he knew had followed him. He was more popular than movie stars like
Brad Pitt
. More popular than musicians than
Drake
. There was a time when the entire western world seemed hinged on the next Blue Man dance video.
George Baker
remembered this vividly. He refused to let go of this memory now. There was a time a while back when he was willing to accept what the world was trying to say. That The Blue Man was a myth. That none of his dance videos had happened.
It was crazy because he still talked to some of the people he had talked to back then during the Blue Man's popularity. He went back to find the texts with some of his friends where they would've mentioned The Blue Man, but they had disappeared. The other texts were still there. Any text mentioning the Blue Man seemed strategically wiped out in order to make it not look like things were awkwardly erased. It was as if history was rewritten.
There was a time when George thought it wasn't a big deal for this history to be re-written. He never believed that it had all just been inside his head. But he wasn't keen on fighting the fact that the rest of the world had forgotten. But once he began reading stories about The Blue Man on this random website, he started to find himself un able to shake the past. Yes it had happened. And for some reason everybody had been made to forget and deny its existence. Why though? he wondered.
The people on this website, the few that were there, wrote about the Blue Man in a matter of fact way. They didn't make it sound like there was a conspiracy. They simply wrote about what The Blue Man had done. The dance on November 5th that one year. That time he strangled that girl live on Instagram Live. There was no mention of a cover-up conspiracy. just the progression of his fame. Nowhere else, not on the internet nor in real life, were people discussing The Blue Man. Long time ago, when Geroge had thought about bringing the subject up, he was struck with an eerie sense that there were people watching. That something very bad would happen if he were to pursue the topic. So he had kept his mouth shut.
