altercation in the parking lot

as reply to The Afternoon

In the evening he was watching the TV they had given him until he heard a sound outside. Not in the hall but the back. He shut off the television, turned off the lights and went to his window. He stared outside. A light cast an orange glow onto the a part of the parking lot. There were footsteps, one made by high heels and other by boots. Then he could see the two figures. The man was chasing the woman. She kept trying to shake him. She looked afraid but didn't seem to want to show it. The man kept trying to get her to do what he wanted her to do without him having to force her.

This kept escalating until he grabbed her. George tried to yell to get them to stop but they couldn't hear him... or acted like they couldn't hear him. He started shouting in all directions hoping that somebody in the building would go out and stop them. He couldn't feel any others' presences. He felt alone except for the two out there getting into an altercation. "Helpppp!" George yelled. He went to the door and banged his fist against it hoping his captors would come to stop him. Then he could ask them to help the two out in the parking lot. He wouldn't even ask for his freedom. Just go and help those two.

But nobody came. When he went back to the window the two were gone from the parking lot.
