After 50 minutes he began walking. He had told himself he would wait an hour but towards the end he was actually wanting to take the walk. He hadn't looked it up how long it would take. Was running the numbers in the head as he left the terminal and walked along the sidewalks and eventually to a place where there were no sidewalks.

He guessed he lived about 20 miles away. Fuck that was like seven hours walking. But he figured there was no reason why he shouldn't make the trek. There were no appointments or plans he had to make. He had missed classes for three weeks now after all. There was no rush. no. What was seven more hours. Might as well spend it walking. There'd be a funny story to tell to Sean Don as well.

It was nice that his phone was dead. Otherwise he'd just be able to call or text Sean his location. Jack had been aware that he could've easily charged his phone at the airport. Plugged in for just 10 minutes and you'd have enough juice to arrange something. but he had chosen this walk.
