At the start of this year, I decided that I wanted to understand power and corruption more than I do. After witnessing some changes in people I knew, I developed an interest in the concept of power and corruption. I even watched the show breaking bad on Netflix since it is based on that topic.
What I have come to understand is that power is very seductive. It is intoxicating and hard to give up. The many countries in the world with leaders going into their second decade of unchallenged power is an obvious demonstration of power.
Now social media is on a dangerous path of creating many power hungry "influencers" with real impact on our lives. Now, anyone with the potential to create a following and an internet connection - is able to get his/her ego boosted with each post that gets a reaction. Any form of reaction.
This rant today is about Elon Musk. He sent out two tweets about crypto currency. First that Tesla will no longer accept bitcoin to buy their car. And second about the potential capacity of Doge(a nonsense coin). It is very obvious that Elon is engaging in crypto manipulation. Since his first tweet, over $300 billion has been removed from bitcoin and Dogecoin went up by 34%. By sending such tweets, Elon Musk is able to position himself to sell or buy to make billions within a few minutes.
Here is a perfect example of someone getting drunk by the power of their tweet. This type of behavior should be illegal and SEC should investigate what exactly Elon has done in the last 24 hours with his crypto profile. I am sure Elon Musk doesn't realize what he is doing. Like most people who are breaking bad.
