This made Pete feel uncomfortable. These people had made his own place cleaner than he kept it. What did that say about him? He had kept a clean space up in

. He found it hard to keep this space clean though. It was much bigger than the room alotted him up there. Also it was harder to be motivated to clean when he lived alone.

Now he felt violated. Someone had came and cleaned his apartment while he was asleep. And probably left some sort of tracking device in here. And also had cleaned his place for him? who does that? Pete wondered.

He had no plans that day. Usually having no plans wasn't a big deal. He would always figure out something to do to wile away the hours. But this morning he felt anxious since he now had to make plans. What to do about the break in. What to do next...

Pete took out his phone and unlocked it. He didn't yet know who he would call or text. Just thought it would come to him once he saw the screen.
