No, this isn't the SQL course that I claimed to be developing as a self-directed online course. I haven't done much work on that recently. This is the original SQL course that I developed for people who work in my role and in my field. I was waiting for permission to deliver this course, which would include a separate contract that might actually pay me beyond my normal compensation. The wheels turn slowly on things like that.
I decided I'm not going to wait any longer, and I'm just going to deliver the course for the five people on my team. All of them can benefit from this course right away.
This will technically be the fourth iteration of the course. The first one was an alpha version that I did for a couple of friends/work colleagues. The second one I delivered for a previous client, although we did not get all the way to the end of the course. The third one was a beta version that I delivered for coworkers at my boss's request. I actually did get paid extra for that one.
I already started gathering the materials and making updates for this new class. I'll finally have something to look forward to at .

If not maybe this will open doors to future teaching opportunities where you find yourself more adn more teacher and less consultant?
