The CULT of Naval

It was many years ago when I first heard of Naval. It was the Tim Ferriss Show. I remember instantly liking the types of things Naval talked about.

You could tell that he speaks in a measured way. Quite intelligent. (most of Tim's guests were like that).
Naval explained a lot of things via evolution explained them well. He also mentioned his Indian background and its influence on him. I love immigrants (first generation or otherwise) who share the impact of their identity. I recall listening to that podcast a few times. Not sure if his interview with Tim was what set off his popularity.

I hear his name, interviews, quotes everywhere now.

There is definitely a cult around that man.
And I am one of those people who looks for his opinion on many things.

I recently found one thing he had said in his famous tweet storm.

Find 3 Hobbies:

1. That makes you money.
2. That keeps you fit.
3. That makes you creativity.

We all got #3 down. If our writing makes us money, then we got #1 down too.
I am looking at #2 and I know it has to involve music and dance.

Thank you Naval.

's disciples can correct me if I'm wrong. But i believe he's saying you should be doing three separate things here?

As in if writing accomplishes #3 then you should find another one to do #1 or #2 for you...

I think you are right. I was looking for a shortcut.

What if you make your own rules?

Wondering what the two of your own rules would be if you made them
