I was walking around downtown waiting for Karen to come for lunch.

She was thinking about changing her name, because everybody was making fun of her.

I told her not to worry about it, but honestly I thought it was a good idea.

I thought it was a good idea because Karen in fact did resemble the 

meme

. 

People don't get upset about being called something they don't believe themselves to be. That's one of those things you're lucky to learn in your 20s. Because I don't think you can after you get too far in life. Too far in this case referring strictly to age, not any level of progression.

But let me tell you. Once you get into your 30s, or even late 20s, you'll find yourself suddenly surrounded by a bunch of people asking you "but what is progress? who gets to define it?"

Not wrong questions, but the way they ask them. If you know then you know. If it's something new that makes you suddenly go: "wait a minute, i AM beginning to see this everywhere!" then welcome to the
