I joined substack officially yesterday.
I am still not certain what I am going to do. But I saw that a lot of Medium writers had a substack account. So I decided to see what that was about.
On the first page, I saw the quote below. I now understand that substack is for newsletters. I haven't thought seriously about writing one. But maybe it isn't a bad idea.
Another thing that struck me was the $100 part. I didn't know anyone asked for payment to provide a newsletter. Even the famous people like Tim Ferriss didn't ask for payment. So I am not sure who provides that as a service in that way. What type of rare gem of an information would you need to provide to get paid for it - $100? I don't know too many books that cost that much.
Maybe I will find out soon.
