I wonder how much
food
we eat in a lifetime? Must be a massive amount. Literally tons.

Food isn't something
Silicon Valley
has figured out. Like we can't just connect ourselves up to an outlet or wirelessly and get fed. At the end of the day you still need to put something physical down your throat and into your belly.

I used to wonder why they couldn't figure this out. They somewhat got close with
Soylent
.

These days I wonder if they figured out much of anything? I mean does digitizing everything solve much at all? Maybe. Makes things a hell of a lot more efficient that's for sure. But you give the people
efficiency
and you make some people happy and a whole bunch really pissed off.

Probably because the people who got the fruits from the efficiency first didn't know how to share as well. But can you blame them? Sure, but if you and I were up there would we do any better? Probably not.

But yes, for some people the need for food is a curse. Some people go hungry. Some die. But I guess for us, for now, we get to each each meal as a blessing.
