your strongest excuse

Your strongest excuse is a compelling story about your limitations that you are willing to get on board with at the expense of your own growth.

Your strongest excuse is so convincing that it will say “you can’t possibly do that”, and you agree. Repeatedly.

Any strong excuse can be thwarted by putting your resolution into 3 words:
“Actually, I can.”

Maybe three more for good measure: “And I will.”

Wow, powerful. Let me try it. Oh yes, it works for 5 min, here's the exercise. Try plank and after 5min when you'll b sweating and cursing and every neuron fiber will shout at you "you can’t possibly do that" say to yourself : “Actually, I can.”, “And I will.” and see how much longer you last. Do you take the challenge ? And I'll try to beat your time.

' lovely take on the 'last time', I believe we get so good at making excuses because we always think we'll get a shot. We struggle to believe the 'last time' exists for everything.
