"Hey, did you say something happened to Joe?"
"Yah, they fired his ass about a month ago."
"Wait, I just saw him in the office yesterday."
"Oh no, he's still working."
"But he got fired? I'm confused."
"They fired his ass. The rest of him is still employed."
"You're kidding, right?"
"Nope. It's a new program HR rolled out. Basically giving people a second chance like probation."
"That makes no sense. Either someone is fired or not."
"That's how it used to be, but hard to find good people."
"So what does that mean they fired his ass?"
"He can't sit down in a company chair. He has to use a standing desk. He can't sit down in the break room. He can take a piss at the urinal, but he can't pull a beaver in the men's room. And he can't walk up to a door backward and prop it open with his ass."
"That sounds silly."
"Well, just inconveniences really, but at least he still has a job."
"Have they done it with anybody else?"
"No, he's the pilot case. I don't know what they're going to do for women because you know women's bladder and they'll probably end up filing a lawsuit."
