An offer impossible to refuse Outlook email fate family LinkedIn cubicles

They offered a deal she couldn't refuse. And this was precisely why she died so unhappy.

But you couldn't blame her... seeing as it was indeed an offer impossible to refuse. So in fact her
fate
was sealed... the moment the offer was given.

I remember not knowing what to say when she first shared the offer with me. I'll go as far as to say I didn't even know how to act. But I did know for certain that it was bad. But the way you speak to someone when they share some news with you, it can make them act differently. So you might think you are trying to warn them about something and cause them to in fact double down on that thing. This is why one needs to be careful in how they speak around their
family
.

Luckily for me, this woman wasn't my family. But I still cared about her. So I didn't know how to respond. The first time she shared to me the offer I had just nodded my head, trying to give some sort of smile... not a bubbly one where I was acting like some
LinkedIn
profile... but some kind of stern smile where it would appear as though I was listening intently but not in complete disapproval.

This was over lunch break, and so we had to return to our
cubicles
before she even finished telling me everything. As soon as I got to my desk I thought of something to say... a warning perhaps, and I wrote it up into
Outlook
... and then I realized that our company would be able to see this. So I erased it and started writing it down on paper. The company's system administrators blocked access to our personal emails. As soon as I wrote the message down on paper, I felt anxious to get home to finally send her the
email
via our personal accounts.
