Package post office package CLIF Bar

as reply to Envelopes

Because there were no markings on the
package
, he thought whether it could even be called a package at all.

After all, weren't packages things that were marked so they could leave some place and end up at some destination?

Normally he'd want to open something like this, but he knew he shouldn't. It's happened before, but he simply returned it back to the
post office
so they could send it along to the right address. But in this case there was nothing even they could do.

He shook the package around trying to listen to what was inside of it. Whoever packed it had done a good job of securing the payload so that it wouldn't be damaged. It felt dense. This made him want to open it.

Maybe there was some information inside. He could then figure out what to do. Plus, who would blame him for opening this unmarked package? Nobody could come knocking on his door blaming him for ripping through their property. How could they prove it was theirs?

The package beckoned him, but his fingers wouldn't move to open it like they normally would with regular mail or the wrapper of a
CLIF Bar
. He stood there doing nothing.
