Untitled Shared at Jul 06, 2022 college Facebook high school students home friend request first impression

They are at the same
college
. They do not meet in real life or even speak, but out of the blue she adds him on
Facebook
. Even though he hasn't thought about her in months this excites him. She is attractive and feels familiar. They both went to the same
high school
together. Even back then they didn't speak much, but now that they are isolated from
home
, anybody from 'home' feels that much closer.

He likes it whenever a girl
friend request
s him on Facebook. He purposely doesn't add people because he wants to see how long it takes the other to ask him. Most people do not play this head-game and simply add people they want to know more. Usually it'll be after hanging out for the first time through a mutual friend.
first impression
s will be made and the request will arrive soon.

But the requests that come without rhyme or reason, those are what really tantalized him. Like if the two had found out they were in a class together then it would make sense that a friend request would arrive. But he hadn't seen her since back at home. Why add him suddenly?

The most reasonable explanation was that she was bored one day and surfing around Facebook instead of doing homework like
students
often will, and was adding anyone who she remembered. He went to check her friends list and found out it wasn't too large. It was just about the same as his. This made him feel better, that he probably wasn't just some random add. She wanted to add him particularly. Maybe he thought to himself.

He went through the entirety of her posted pictures and then thought about going through them again. He had nothing to do that day. That's when the sound of the metal door lock turning sounded into the room.

"Hey you eat yet?"

"Nah. Let's go."

"Cool. Let me just take a piss."
