Another relaxing evening

Today I am set to watch Dune.
My brother sold me on the movie. Apparently there was an older version that was bad. A tv series that was bad. But now some great producer or director made it so it is supposed to be good.

I miss going to the movies in person. Especially when there is a movie that is recommended for me to watch.

But I am making the best of it at home.
I ordered my low carb meal.
Boiled some herbal tea.
Found my favorite blanket.
And got cozy for the show.

Now that I think about it, I don't miss the movies that much.
haha this is a great ending. well constructed and hooked. just enough funny feelings with the warm fuzzies.

Yes, the director is really great. Keni you should see the movie Arrival, it was released in 2016.

The Director, Denis Vileneuve is the reason i'm going to see Dune also.

Thanks Sir Abe. I have starting to write as I am formulating my thoughts. I don't know how I will end sometimes.

Yes Seun, bro told me to watch the arrival as well. Dune was ok. I didn't follow a lot of the things that happened. May need to watch it again.

The director has a habit of doing pretty good adaptations of books into sci-fi movies. Arrival he used Kurt Vonnegut's aliens from Slaughterhouse 5. I heard he did a good job with Dune.

Glad it's gonna be a 2 parter. There are way too many cool scenes in the book for just one movie.

dune! great scifi pic i thought. agreed re: director; scifi directors always have a very interesting agenda that they have to get through in the first film, the labor of world building. for anything to mean anything it has to be introduced/explained, contextualized, and then given value; most non-scifi movies don't need to introduce concepts that are commonplace/day to day to us so can cut right into establishing the context & meaning.

i think i like trying to pick up on worldbuilding details like i like trying to pick up on other languages
