That night Cal couldn't sleep he listened to Keith's theory. It wasn't particularly amazing, nor Cal would say useful, but Keith had done a lot of watching on one guy, and he was sure he could figure out what to make him happy. Cal sipped his espresso and listened as Keith talked.
So the guy is really regimented. Like gets up at the same time everyday. Goes out at the same day, and from his banking app looks like he goes to a cafe down the street, the
Westcity
. He pays the same amount everyday so he probably orders the same thing, and it always takes the same time. He comes home and turns the heat on for two hours. This is where I don't know what he does, but he uses a lot of data or downloads a lot, so its likely streaming of some sort. Then his hot water goes on, so he probably takes a shower. He also ordered last week a yoga mat, and in a note he wrote replacement. So he is exercising at some point. Then he leaves again this time for much longer but always around 4 hours. All the while his Roomba cleans. Here we don't detect any clothes on the floor and the Roomba is fast so the house is already clean. So the guy is like a neat freak. Anyways when he gets home, he always asks Alexa what are my messages, and when replies no messages today, you can hear him sigh, well sometimes it depends how long the microphone is. So he like wants there to be messages. Then from his purchasing history he buys some kitchen supplies, but the weird thing is he always orders out, and only from like 5 restaurants. Then his data usage goes way up again. Until 7 when he wakes up. So I was thinking if we just coded something to order for him, that would save him time, and he would probably be happier. Also we could send him messages, like to remind him of stuff.
Cal sipped his espresso again. Hmm. it was cold now. Idk man. Can you like do that? Could you send him stuff. Keith thought about this, and he guessed it would be weird. Or maybe he would just think he ordered it. Either way Keith wanted this guy to be happy, wanted it more than most things in the world.
