This is how we would start his day.
First a coffee. Then a cold shower. After that 30 minutes of meditation. And then he would have enough energy to make himself a quick breakfast. With a full belly he would then have the motivation to go into the bathroom, lather the shaving cream on, and then get his face and head completely smooth. Then he'd stare at himself in the mirror for a minute humming a tune.
That would be the start of the day. If he didn't do all of the above he wouldn't be able to do anything without suffering.
Then again he wasn't doing much after he quit being The Blue Man.
But now with the kid and the dancing lessons he found himself dancing again. Sometimes he might skip parts of his morning routine and get to dancing before shaving. Or dancing before eating. And sometimes even dancing damn well before his coffee.
He felt it now. The joy of being alive. The thrill of jumping out of bed and dancing. He had to dance.
