He wasn't sure if he could leave the room or not. He had passed the test. What did that mean?

He had nowhere to go even if he were to leave the motel. So he stayed put. Was just happy to have eaten somethign for the first time in days.

Whoever was ordering his meals had treated him. Three times the food as usual. Dave ate it all.

The sleep was good that night. While not eating he could hardly sleep. Didn't really need it. Felt wired all the time. Brain couldn't stop.

This time around he looked at his pile of notebooks and thought no way he could write. Instead put on a movie and fell asleep before ten.
