The infared camera was Dave's favorite. When it was dark, the guy in there couldn't see shit. But Dave could see all of the guy. His heat.

was an amazing thing. Something Dave took for granted until this job.

There were so many movie scenes he rememberd. Where a person would be hiding in the dark. And the bad guy couldn't find them. Heat though. If you were alive there was no hiding from someone with infared vision.

For some reason things that were alive emitted heat. Dave felt the heat on his skin. Different parts of his body felt warmer. His armpits for example were extremely warm. If there was a predator who came into the room, Dave wouldn't be able to turn this heat off. He would be screwed.

Predator. That's kind of how he saw

. Only that man didn't need infared vision. It was almost like he could smell fear in the air. It creeped the fuck out of Dave.

Dave shivered a little and then checked back on the videos. The man was no laying on his side. Going from one side to other. Looked like he was trying to fall asleep. Poor guy didn't know that the lights were about to turn back on.
