The whole drive back she thought about the way BAKA looked at her. He knew who she was and her connection to Keith.

She stopped by a hotel once she was tired of driving. IT wasn't even that late. Maybe seven. It was getting dark so early these days. At the hotel she remembered her husband. What was his name? Alan? That was who she had run from initially.

He had stopped texting and calling after a while. Had he given up on her? she wondered. What would happen if she showed up at his door... no their door... and said "i'm back."

She wondered this while watching a Whoopi Goldberg film on the TV at the hotel. She fell asleep halfway in.
