a burning desire Imogen Howe Westcity

as reply to The Silence

He was back on road. Out west. Where the beers were smaller but the people were larger.

He had to order more beers than usual to feel a buzz. He wasn't used to ordering this many beers. When leaving the bar he'd feel uncomfortable. Worried that he'd be driving drunk. But when he felt the steering wheel he felt fine. It was just the small beers tricking him into thinking he drank more than he actually had.

While gripping the streering wheel he thought of the sensation he felt that one time when he was on the chase for
Imogen Howe
. The skin of his palms had burned. He had been sure that they had peeled of or something. But when he finally took a look at them the next day they were un touched.

As he drove further away from
Westcity
he could feel a pressure in his back. Like he was leaving behind something heavy. Something that would come crashing down if he looked back. If he kept driving west it would stay up although the weight would become unbareable.

But his only desire now was to go back to Sparrow's. To see Imogen Howe. Finally ask her who she was. After all the memories he had experienced of her's Marc Love now wanted to speak with her and listen to her stories form her own words.
